Theme

The  theme  of a story is what the author is trying to teach you. This can be discovered by thinking about the character and how the character has changed throughout the story.  Questions to ask yourself include:

1. How has the character  changed  throughout the story (from beginning to end)?
2. Did the character  learn  something? What was it that they learned?
3. How can I apply this lesson to  MY  life?
